My questions for the world.

How many blogs do you have?

Do you blog at all? Are you a chronic blogger on a single site? Or across many? Do you host your own blog site or do you use an online service?

I think I'm crazy. I have far too many blogs. And far too little to say! I guess I just keep typing in hopes something really great will come out, capturing the internet masses in some way. I think the current number is seven? I think that's right. One personal blog, hosted on my own site. Then about six hosted on Blogger.com ... a few anonymous ones like this one and a couple others to meet various "needs" or ideas I've had. Fascinating stuff, eh?

What's your favourite kind of weather?

Have you always felt that way, or is it a preference that has changed over the years?

I always used to consider Winter to be my favourite season. Not unusual for a Canadian kid who would be outside tobogganing or skating or cross-country skiing. I still enjoy these things when I get out to do them and I find snow aesthetically pleasing.

However, I have become a summer lover. I want hot, sunny, even a touch humid, weather. I want to feel a pleasant breeze that keeps it from being too oppressive outside, and I want big trees to give me shade so I don't die in the sun. I also want a pool or body of water to enjoy either being in it or beside it.

I officially changed my weather preferences after spending some time in the very sunny south during a very hot summer last year. I never quite adjusted back, and it turns out that my health (both physical and mental) appreciates this kind of weather too. Go figure!

Are you a shotgun shopper?

Do you wait to buy that item of clothing or that new mattress or whatever it is until the absolute point of necessity is essentially on top of you?

I don't want it to be so, but I think that's me. Especially when it comes to clothing. Argh - so frustrating. In some odd way I think I admire all of those who shopping comes naturally to.

P.S. After a much needed to break, I've decided to press on, just because I can. :) In case you ever return: thanks for the comments, zee. You made my day.

Does anybody want to answer these questions?

Not to sound too e-snooty, or anything, but there has been a grand total of zero comments on here since getting this crazy idea. One may criticise and say that I have not posted new questions so why should anybody else post comment responses? But I have to be honest and say that the response has not been what I had envisioned, so it is hard to be motivated by the idea alone with no feedback.

Maybe I'm being whiny but, uncharacteristically perhaps, today I don't seem to care. So, if anybody actually is interested in answering my goofy questions (I'd still like to know the answer to the original question about Canadian television outside of Canada in particular!) please scroll down and start commenting. Give me a reason to make new questions!

Otherwise, I shall have to admit defeat and fold. Thanks for your time, regardless. Have a good day.

Do you use alternative fuels?

Is "fill 'er up with biofuel, please" in your regular gas station dialogue? If somebody offered you a farm, would you consider growing crops to be used for biofuel production?

I don't know enough about it yet, but I'm interested in learning more. Are the prices more expensive? But do they stay steadier than gasoline or diesel prices? Or, are you reader types more the "I just bought I hybrid car" category? I think I'd like a hybrid... too bad I don't have money at the moment. LOL

Are you interested in a million different things?

Some days I feel like I am interested in far too many things. Am I the only one? Sometimes it's a good thing and other times it just seems that I must be distracted from whatever I should be doing. So, are you interested in a lot of different things?

Here's a small example of what I mean: I have a computer science degree and an extensive (and skilled) background in music, but some days I just want to learn to renovate houses, or travel around the world, or do graphic design work, or work with young people. Sometimes all of my interests and strengths converge and it's a very handy thing. Others, not so much. How is it for you?

Have you ever posted on The Friday Five?

I've been looking for other examples of what I call "question blogs" and finally managed to stumble onto a big one, The Friday Five. Have you ever answered their sets of questions?

I just answered my first set. Kind of cool! I was sure I wouldn't be the only one with this idea. But, does anybody know what the actual moniker is for these "question blogs"? So far I don't really know what the category is called, or how to easily find others. But I'll keep searching.
